Costco was selling a Bachmann Big Hauler for about $90.00. This was the Chattanooga Choo Choo set. For all practical purposes, the engine was obviously a Christmas set as the colors of the engine was Red & Green
The Bachmann Big Haulers have been improved. Here you see on both sides, closeups of the repainted Chattanooga Engine.
The left shows some of the wood grain that you can get out of the model if you paint the obvious wood surfaces, then lightly sand it.
The right shows the trucks dirtied up with rust color spray paint.
Another couple of photos of the repainted Chat Train. The roof was all red. I do not think so!
I merely wrapped the parts that I did not want to tape with painters masking tape [wide 3M tape]. I did small touch up with flat black.
The red cow catcher has been repainted.

To the left is a shot of the Bachman 4-6-0, with it's coaches. On the right, you see a close up of the repainted stripe. I repainted the dark green strip that had "Chattanooga" on it and painted it black to make a generic car.
