The all metal Lok 1 was purchased on eBay. Strong and solid runner. It was down for repairs for so long, I sold it on eBay "as is" Nice train but not being able to get parts was a negative. I did get another Marklin 0-4-0. Check out "Latest Toys" to see a photo.
To the right is another LGB that I purchased new on eBay. Good smoker. It also has the plugs for power pickup or to light coaches, lamps, etc. This was also sold on eBay and is no longer part of the line. |
Hartland Locomotive Works C, B, & Q 0-4-0 |
The Lizard Attititude Railroad runs a lot of everything. Here is a photo list of all the engines that have graced the Line.

The first Large Scale Purchase was the LGB 30th Anniversery Set right after Christmas, 1999. The Set yielded this ugly little Spud that, after it is all said and done, is THE longest and toughtest running engine for the dollars spent.
The Spreewald is a great looking engine, solid runner and holds up well in the desert, as do all LGB products. The Arizona Desert is very tough on trains... |

The Hartland is a steady and Strong runner - It is not as detailed as the Bachmann.
The Best deal Engine in the world is the Bachmann 0-4-0. Mine came from a Mining set. For the price and what you get with it and the quality of the Engine - You cannot go wrong. |
LGB Stainz - Running on the Mountain Line |
To the left is the Elias LGB steam tram that is used for light passenger service. Not a strong puller due to it's light weight. This was sold on eBay and is no longer a member of the system.
To the right is an Early Bachmann, 4-6-0. This unit has been sold for parts. It could not hold up to the rigors of the Arizona heat. This unit had the older drive assembly. New Big Haulers are much better. I used the combine car that came with this set to make a building. |
LGB 0-6-2. Another great runner. Steady and sturdy. |
Early Bachmann Big Hauler - No longer a member of the system |
