Well, despite many setbacks, Dad and 3 of his boys made it to Galesburg RR days.  And two of the engines that I wanted to see were thereand both were begging for photos.

The Chicago Burlington & Quincy E5 Zephyr.  This is a movie star train and it was used in several recent movies including "Pearl Harbor" and the Tom Hanks/Geena Davis movie, "A League of Their Own"

Where's the hamburgers?  No one was cooking in the kitchen of the dining car.

The transition car slopes upward to evenly match the E5 unit.  Note the wear on the seats in the coach car
