On the right, a GP30.  This is the unit that USA trains is coming out with...for local color, buying an undecorated and painting it to match the A&C would be kind of a cool idea!

It's nice to see many of these old diesels looking good and still earning their keep.
On the left you see a string of GP30m's.  These all were built sometime in the early 1960's.  They still are part of the motive power fleet for the A&C although, these appear to have been resting awhile here.

Based on what I can find, it seems that the newest egines on this shortline were built in the early 1970's.  This Railroad originally was a part of the ATS&F.  It was then part of the Line acquired from ATSF by ParkSierra Corp. on May 9, 1991. Most recently, is was acquired by RailAmerica on November 6, 2001.

I often go to Lake Havasu, AZ due to my job and I always have to go through Parker, AZ.  In having to wait for a freight train I noticed some older Diesel units in the Arizona & California Railroad motif.  I finally stopped to take some photos.

The partsNumber 4004 of the A&C.  This is an EMD SD-40M built in 1966.  This is right in front of the building that they use as a Diesel Maintenance shed.

Nice to see a REAL piece of MOW equipment.  This thing has some beef to it!  I don't have any history on this piece of equipment.  The original official website for this Railroad is no longer active since it became part of the RailAmerica group.

On the left, you see an old parlor car with observation deck.  Again - once I can do more research, I will be able to post some data on this great looking car.
